Moving on

In general; people become accustomed to something really quickly. You are used to something and suddenly ; for some reason; you need to let go; to move on. I see it as "letting go of the past to open doors for the future". It is hard to do for everybody especially if it is something or someone we are accustomed to. It is true that it is painful; but we need to do it as it mostly for our sake.

When we move on; we not only let go of the pain but also of the past.Too often; we hold on to things. We find reasons why we should carry on. But there is always this "voice of reason" that keep your head clear and make you see that IT IS NOT WORTH IT. This is the first rule of moving on: understanding that sentence. We need to know that we deserve better. Letting go of the past is hard; but time will do its work.Moving on opens new doors; permit new opportunities; permits to turn the page and lead us to try new things.

  1. But all starts with self-awareness and honesty. Honesty gives birth to healing and change. Once there is the discovery of Truth, you can never go back. You can pretend and ignore it, but the truth will always remain.
So honesty with oneself is truly the best policy!

I think this is a great post Nathalie, makes for a pleasant read.
